Sites and cabins

Grass, red dirt, and a ridge behind the park. Book the right number of nights — leaving early is not refunded.

Powered sites

There are 18 powered sites. You do not pick the number yourself — the booking system assigns it. If you want to camp next to travelling companions, email bankabookings@ilsc.gov.au after you book. The park will try. It cannot guarantee it.

Check-in is from 11am to 5pm. Check-out is 9am.

Unpowered sites

Unpowered sites are not given a number in advance. At check-in, staff will point you to a spot, and whether two parties can camp together depends on the space that day.

Same hours as the powered sites: in from 11am, out by 9am.

Cabins and the cottage

Cabins are limited and are not priced on this site. Phone or email with your dates. Pets cannot stay in cabins.

Cabin check-in is from 2pm to 5pm, check-out 9am. Reception and the cottage sit with the park, and the office is open 9am to 5pm.

In the park

  • Camp kitchen. No meals for sale.
  • Toilets and showers, including an accessible toilet.
  • Dump point beside the accessible toilet.
  • Laundry, $4 a load.
  • Playground.
  • Telstra payphone. Calls within Australia are free.
  • Internet, when the connection is up. Outages take time to fix.

While the season is shut

The park is closed for the 2026 season and reopens in January 2027. Online bookings open soon. Until then, call (08) 8964 4511 or email bankabookings@ilsc.gov.au.
