What a beautiful little oasis on the Stuart. Close to the highway but noise no issue at night. Very pleasant caravan area with quite a bit of shade. Amenities were very clean and roomy. Well worth the stop.

Off the bitumen, under the ridge
The park is a pull-off on a working station, not a resort. There are powered and unpowered sites, a few cabins when one is free, a camp kitchen, and tracks to the lookout and the waterhole.
Traditional owners still use this country and take part in running the station. If you walk, stay on the marked tracks. Places you can visit from the park include Kajanpurra Waterhole and Punkkurr Punkkurra Spring.
Evenings are for the sky. There is no pool, and campfires are not allowed. Bring food. The kitchen is equipped for a simple meal. The park does not serve one.
What a night costs
